Enquiry privacy notice

How we handle information sent through the FinSynta enquiry form.

Who is responsible?

Ija Bīriņa (self-employed) is the data controller for enquiries. Contact: info@finsynta.com.

What we collect and why

We collect the contact and business information you choose to enter in the form, together with technical information used for security and spam prevention. We use it to respond to your question, understand the scope of requested services and prepare a proposal if you ask for one. We do not use enquiry details for marketing without a separate choice.

Legal basis

For a request about services or a proposal, we process the information to take steps at your request before a possible contract. For other questions and spam prevention, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the site.

Where it goes

The form is provided by WordPress.com/Jetpack and is stored in the site’s form responses. A notification is sent to info@finsynta.com in Google Workspace. These service providers process the information to operate the website and mailbox.

How long we keep it

If the enquiry does not become a client relationship, we delete the enquiry from our mailbox and WordPress form responses within 12 months of the last contact. If you become a client, service and accounting records are handled under the separate client agreement and applicable retention duties.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also contact Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) if you have a concern. Write to info@finsynta.com for any request.

Please avoid sensitive records

Do not upload or send identity documents, tax returns, bank statements or other confidential records through the first enquiry. We will agree a suitable secure channel if such documents are needed.
